[Web] New feature. In addition to .vtt subtitles format, it is now possible to download subtitles in .srt format as well.
[Web] New feature. We have added the option to summarize the transcribed text. Through usage of AI, you are now able to summarize transcriptions into paragraph or bullet-points structured texts. Summarization into various languages is possible, as well as selecting the style of summarization. This is one segment of LitteraWorks which will be upgraded in the future, please let us know if you have any suggestions for it.
[Backend] Bug fix. Due to changes on YouTube, our transcription when entering directly YouTube link was not available. It is now working again.

[Backend] Bug fix. Improvement of subtitles creation process, should fix occasional errors during creation of subtitles and/or timecodes.

[Backend] Minor improvement. Change of the subtitling engine - improvement in the timings. Subtitles are now starting from the second when the first word is spoken, not from the 0:00 second. Also, timecodes should be slightly more accurate.

[Web] Major improvement. Folders. You can create folders to store some specific transcripts into them, mostly for the sake of easier archiving and using them later. For example, you might want to create folders for your interviews, the other one for the important stuff, to-be-used-later or similar. Create the folder, move the transcript into it and access them from the new segment "My Folders".
[Web] Minor improvement. You are now able to go directly to the original transcript from its translation.

[Mobile app] Minor improvement. Support for 17 languages, which were previously support on the web, added to the mobile app: Chinese, Azerbeijani, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian. Norwegian, Slovak, Ukrainian.
[Web] Bug fix. Group transcript bugs were fixed. When you add the user to the group, her transcripts will begin showing in the "Group transcripts" section to each user in the same group. After the user is removed, only transcripts that were added during her "membership" in the group, will be available to the other members of the group.

[Web] Major improvement. New subtitles editor - visual tool, with the possibility to listen to the audio and/or watch the video, edit subtitles through the visual interface and adjust the timecodes.
[Web] Minor improvement. Added video tutorials for the usage of the Litteraworks platform.

[Mobile app] Major improvement. Android and iOS apps now feature an audio library - recorded audio files are still automatically sent to the transcription process. Still, you are also able to check them on your device, listen to them, share them as an audio file, etc. This practically turns the LitteraWorks app into a dictaphone, providing both recording and transcription functions.
[Web] Minor improvements. User profile. Upload progress bar.

[Web] Minor improvement. Possibility to copy the whole text from the transcript with one click, instead of clicking each one to select it.
[Web] Minor improvement. It is now possible to share the transcript with other users who are outside of your team/group. Clicking on "share" will create a URL with a single transcript. Anyone with access to LitteraWorks will be able to view that shared URL.

[Web] New feature. It is now possible to edit subtitles in Litteraworks. Click on the subtitle to edit it and save changes without downloading the file. Do this before creating translations, so they are created based on the fixed transcription.

[Web] Major improvement. Subtitles functionality is now live. Users can now upload audio or video files to generate subtitle files in the original language, complete with timecodes. The resulting .vtt file is compatible with a wide range of video editing software, as well as platforms like YouTube. Additionally, we've introduced the option to translate these subtitles into multiple languages, generating a new .vtt file accordingly. Unlike other features on the platform, these subtitles are available for download and not shown on the web interface, offering added convenience for your post-production needs.

[Extension] Major improvement. The browser extension has been thoroughly reworked, to leverage the capabilities introduced in Chrome version 116 and beyond. In previous iterations, users encountered issues with fragmented recordings when browser tabs were minimized, owing to how browsers allocate RAM. Those issues have now been fully resolved. Additionally, the need to manually select a tab for recording has been eliminated; the extension now intuitively starts recording from the currently active tab.
